Closing Error

ok when ever i turn on my computer after a few minuates of loading it says

Explorer has caused and error in ~5774915891.TMP
Explorer will now close

and it has a button to close it and i do and the icons disappear and i know the computer needs Explorer to run and this has started today everytime i turn on the computer can someone please help me i dont know how to get it off and when i try to uninstall that . TMP file it says i cant becuase its being used by windows

well then i say close and al lthe icons diappear and notihng shows up but now the close button is hovering above the screen and i t wont go away my freidn said it wa saIM so i uninstalled that then she siad it was macfree or something like that so i uninstalled that but it still happens only a bit later. no i dont the thing stays there and unless i quickly close all the adware throug control alt dealte then it wont do anything i have to much adware in my computer

oh and im running on windows ME

Try getting adaware from Downloads.com and if you can running it - delete everything it comes up with.
