Default Close Ports

I want to know how I can close all ports accept certain ones. For example I wanted to close all ports accept the ones for internet explorer and aim

I would want to leave 5190 and 80/8080/3128 all open but close EVERYTHING else where nothing can go through them. How would I do this?

Default Re: Close Ports

use a router, and only forward the ports you want.
the rest will be closed.

Yes this can be done by a router. If u have one just log onto it and set up the port blocking. Then u can manually add ports that it keep open.
