Click and Hold Not Working.

Not sure why but recently I noticed that I can't click and hold the mouse button down on my computer. For example, in paint when I try to cut out an object by dragging a box over it, it just won't drag or will turn on and off intermittently. Also when I'm playing an RTS game I won't be able to click and drag the selection box over my guys because I won't hold. I can click fine but the hold feature seems to be busted.

Same thing. It just seems to turn itself on and off. Especially during games.

Try a different USB port, or if it's PS/2 try a USB mouse.

tried different USB ports and its still doing it.

Try going into Control Panel, Mouse, and trying some configuration options.

If all else fails, turn on ClickLock, so you click once to lock the pointer, and click again to release it.

I've had to use a mouse like that. I hated it, but it did solve the problem. You need to adjust to more clicking and less holding lol.

What causes this problem though. Is there a way around this?
