Default Clearing hard drive

Well i'm getting rid of my old computer becuase of my new one i built....How exactly do i go and remove absolutely everything off my old Hard drive....Let me know or aim me at silverscot845fs....i need help asap on this

well formatting it still leaves recoverable things. i suggest disk shredder or whatever its called. it makes it so that your info isnt recoverable. what i suggest it that you get a diff hard drive for that comp and then sell it because nothing is failsafe.

I'm not selling it but i just don't want anything on the hard drive....Just tell me how to do it normally without getting online cause my old pc don't have internet
