hi,

i was browsing other forums and found some1 had a problem with there ram so some1 posted

'Remove your RAM and clean off the contacts with an eraser, reinsert.
Repeat with your video card.'

does he mean a regular school eraser ? i guess it would make sense no static electricity at all ??

Yes, a regular pencil eraser. Rub on the contacts until they become shiny again, it won't take long. Just don't rub too hard so you don't damage the card or the ram. Then make sure you wipe off all of the eraser debris that might be on the card or the contacts and you will be ready to go.

I've done this before on pci cards and even super nintendo games, it works very well and is probably the best way to clean them.
