Default The Clash Of The Titans: Which is better?

I dont know which computer to go for which is the best out the 3 (or is there a better deal on the net).

1. http://www.lowestonweb.com/products/...5-F76F38785959

2. DELL Price £366.45 http://configure.euro.dell.com/dells...pdesktop1&fb=1

PROCESSOR Intel® Pentium® D 915 Dual Core Processor (2.80GHz, 800MHz, 2x2MB) edit
OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Basic - English edit
SUPPORT SERVICES Collect & Return, 1 Year Service only edit

MONITOR No Monitor edit
MEMORY 1024MB Dual Channel DDR2 533MHz [2x512] Memory edit
HARD DRIVE 80GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst™ cache edit
OPTICAL DRIVE 16X DVD+/-RW Drive edit
GRAPHICS CARD Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3000 edit

3. £399 http://www.grapevinecomputers.co.uk/

My Budget is around £350ish pounds.

Should I stick with a tried and tested name like dell or go for another?

I have a wireless monitor and keyboard already.

Please help me decide.

Regards

What's the computer for mate? And grapevine may no longer have that £399 deal, it's one of those shops where you have to go in and look at it.

That DELL one has a crap video card you know..

Check these out; http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/pr...hs1&l=en&s=dhs

But yeah, pop into Grapevine and ask them, they are very very helpful!

Well if you watch TV and perhaps record TV, then a Celeron would struggle for you (The Dell has a celeron)....If i had to choose out of the three, I would go for Option 1. Should be great for what you say your going to be using it for..

I thought a "dual core processor" was all the rave these days? Is there any difference or is it just the same as other processors but with a jazzy name?

basically, its two processors on one chip. it increases your performance by almost 100% if you multi task.

so basically a Dual Core Processor 2.80GHz is just 5.6MHz processor?

also what does the 800MHz mean beside it?
