Default Choppy gaming at random times

When i'm Gaming at random times(as far as I can tell) the game goes choppy for about 5-10 seconds the goes back to normal. I thought it might be heat, but i downloaded Speedfan and while WoW is up i'm sitting at 73 degrees C even during these choppy instances. I then thought it was my graphics card drivers, but after updating those the problem still continued.

Here is my computer specs:

OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Mother Board: ASUS M2N MX SE
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Proc. 5200+ 2.6GHZ
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT
RAM: 4GB (2x 2GB) Kingston
PSU: Auriga 500w
Case: (Not really sure to be honest.)
Fans: 2 x 120mm fan. 1x rear 1x side

My motherboard came with the original PC, and is the only remaining unchanged part.

Any help to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.
