Default Choosing a Decent Laptop

Hi everyone,

Iím looking at getting a new laptop soon, and thought Iíd come here and ask the communityís advice. I donít have my heart set on a particular brand or model, although would like something with at least 2GB of RAM, probably something with a dual-core processor and definitely something with wireless. It would be a great plus as well if it could manage some games well. Iím not necessarily looking for the latest and greatest, but if it can manage something like Oblivion or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (or something even newer) on mid to high settings that would be spectacular.

Price isnít a huge issue, but something under $2,000 AU (about ₤900/$1,765 US) would be best (although less is always good).

That's nice but he wants something that can handle some games and that used integrated graphics. How about this: http://configure.euro.dell.com/dells...N01X3302&s=dhs
It has a 8400MS GPU which should be able to handle S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Oblivion at medium settings. I don't really like Dell in general but they do decent laptops.
AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 4.0GHz + TU120E lapped - MSI 770-CD45 AM3 - 2x2GB OCZ DDR3 1333MHz - Sapphire HD 4870 - Samsung Spinpoint 500GB 7200RPM 16MB cache HDD - Tagan TG600-BZ Piperock - (Currently open test bed) - Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit.
