In someone's own words, what is the difference between a chipset and mobo?

A chipset is the combination of the north bridge and south bridge chips that control the functions of the motherboard.

A mobo (motherboard) is the main circuit board to which the CPU, chipset, and all peripherals are attached to.

Yup. That's the model number of your motherboard.

The chipset of your motherboard is the Intel 945G Express.
