no no in vista putting dxdiag in the search bar brings up direct x diagnostics

Didn't find it?? weird. I've done it at work. Nothing showed up, but when I pressed enter it still ran.

Either way, I'm glad you got it.

You probably typed "dxdiag" while at your work station. Thats the problem.

Nope, it was a vista demo out on the sales floor, nowhere near my XP workstation.
