Post Cheaper alternative to Raptor

Anyone know a cheaper alternative that reaches or comes close to the speed/performance?

The hard drives that are closest to the raptor in terms of speed, as far as I know, are seagates 7200.10 hard drives. These are the hard drives that use perpendicular recording.

I've heard that hitachi deskstars are also pretty fast.

well the seagate is close and a little less noisy,But you can still notice when you have a raptor installed.

Seagate 7200.10 are almost as fast, and in some cases faster than the raptors.
