Default cheap gaming build for a friend!!1

i am gonna set up a new mid range gaming rig for my friend here is what ive picked out

mother board

Well everything on that list looks good to me. Some people tell you to upgrade the graphics card, but IMO I think the 9600GT performs exceptionally well for gaming, unless you are gonna be playing on a HUGE monitor with high resolution.

I agree. The main reason I decided to upgrade from that to the 4870, really, was the fact that I'm going to be getting a nice big monitor soon. I loved my 9600GT to bits, because it was a huge step-up from the 8500GT I had. I'd definitely say it's a card that's well-worth its price.

yeah, they went down in price pretty quick. I got mine not too long ago for like $180 or so.

That is a good deal. At that price, the 8800GT is the way to go.
