Default Changing hard drives from computer to computer...

I have one computer with to IDE HD's in and another with none in, I want to change them over but when I plug them into their new home (lol) I get blue screen'd. Any suggestions?

Cheers for the reply mate. I'd like to know something before I doing anything I may end up regretting. I'm not sure what a 'standard' Master Bus IDE driver is or where to find it, also would uninstalling the driver then placing it in the other computer work? Thanks again.

If the hard drive contains the windows boot partition then you can't normally just switch the drive into another machine - you will need to remove the drivers first using sysprep. This is because the new computer has different hardware in it and when you plug in the hard drive from the other computer windows will start up expecting to see certain hardware and when it doesn't find it this probably caused your bluescreen.
