Change proxy settings?

I talked to borat testerday, and he was saying that websence is a proxy itself, and if I change the proxy settings, I can go from there. I know ppl at our school use, kproxy. so when you type it in it looks like this:
https://kproxy.com

"s" after http

Please keep in mind that anyplace with a properly setup web proxy, you cannot simply change the proxy settings to get around proxys.

At my school even if I go and plug my laptop in, still going thru our proxy.
