CF and SLI

does anybody know the actual performance gain from these two? google couldn't find me much

i think it depends on what cards you are trying to SLI/CF.
they varies, some does better than others.
but i think SLI/CF gets an average of 40% - 50% increase

That sounds about right, sometimes you see higher depending on the game. It never scales perfectly.

I know that in SLI one card renders half of the screen, and the other the other half.

It's not a set percentage, it varies from game to game. You'll have to check through reviews to see how good the scaling is in the games you (will) play.

i think crossfire came before sli...correct me if i'm wrong. also i heard that crossfire has a much better technology and interface for the users.
