Or......you could get something simple like this one to reduce the cost of the motherboard but not sacrificing the main performance aspects of it like the FSB.

What I love about that motherboard is the fact that it still has some useable PCI slots for hardware you might have that could still use it. I have yet to see any cards that uses the other PCI-express slots, lol. What's with manufacturers anyways?!? They need to keep up with the times.

Q6600 SLACR is definitely the CPU to get, no doubt.

As for RAM, get Crucial Ballistix.

Well the RAM being slightly faster isn't really worth paying more for, plus that RAM is very stable and many use it

The problem with the board is that I believe the 680i chipset is a higher performing chipset and plus I COULD SLi later if I chose 2
