Celeron with Vista Ultimate

id say that celeron is the main cause. we all know they are one of the lowest processors you can get.
theres no point having loads of ram if you dont have a half decent cpu to support it. id upgrade if it you can. if not just tweak up your system a bit.
i dont think a celeron is meant for gaming anyway

Vista sucks up so much system resources its not even funny. Even on my dual core X2 3800+ vista doesnt run too fast. Its still fast and all, but nothing compared to XP. I think its a waste, just go with XP. The one thing thats in Vista that XP doesnt have, is it looks pretty, at a cost.

Just remember that when you upgrade your motherboard that if you get a socket 775 you will have to buy new RAM also.

I don't know about vista, but when all I did was transfer my old HP HD to my new computer I built with new mobo and processor, etc. I had to talk to an indian guy for 5 minutes then it was back up and running.
