Default Celeron M processor

Is the Celeron M processor decent? Is it much worse than the Pentium M, or just a cheaper alternative? I've noticed that a lot of cheaper laptops have it, and I would like to know more about it.

AMD seems like the way to go. How does this look to everyone: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...816&CatId=1348

It looks pretty good to me, great price too. Anyone have any idea on the battery life I would get?
