Default CD drive skips

When I burn my music cds, something happens where the songs will skip when I listen to them in my cd player. How do i fix this??

I am using a windows xp professional sp2 64-bit.

What sort of CD's are you using?

Tried only 1 CD player?

Abit IP35 Pro / Q6600 G0 / Zalman 9700 / 8800GTS 640mb / 4x 2GB Corsair XMS / X-FI Xtreme M / 1x 1TB / Antec 900 / Logitech Z-5500 / Samsung 20inch

Try burning the CDs at a lower speed.
