Question Causes To Faulty System

What do you guys think are usually the reasons to cause faulty systems on a Windows box, i.e. applications crashing, unstable Windows/programs, occasional faulty hardware error, etc.? Cause I noticed when a Windows box has either no applications installed, or when Windows is freshly installed, there are no problems. What are some good methods to preventing these things?

spywARE/malware is the most vilest things to reall harm a system..trojans and worms do the wost damage as they distroy registry files.
First thing is to be behind a hardware type firewall such as a router then a software firewall program. then use anti-virus programs to search for that type of intrusions and then spyware/malware utillities. While there are a lot of different tuypes of programs some that maybe better than these..it is what I use regularly ...all are free and alll work:
