I am interested in getting a new case for my computer, but how do you know if it will fit your current computer or do you have to like get a certain one? Someone mind taking the time to assist me through this please.

How much are you willing to spend on a good case? The average computer case are the midtowers and they support regular ATX motherboards and miniATX also. Most likely, you're going to get a midtower case.

Price is not a factor but I was looking around the range of $100 but again I dont really mind paying for any kind of case. I found a really nice case that I agreed to purchase IF and only IF I am able to move everything to it without any issues;

What kind of information must I give you so you can determine weather it will work with my computer or not?

it'll work with your computer. It works with both mobo form factors so you're set.

So this case can fit any kind of computer? Do you know which computer I am going to move this one into, its my new new gateway computer. This is another one.

Pretty much yea it can fit all comps, but i don't know if gateways use proprietary power connectors and psus or not, if they do, then your sol.

No no, this case wont' be going to my gateway. I have a Compaq, and I want to move the compaq into this new case.

What's the specs of the Compaq Presario? Well, I'm more interested in what kind of motherboard it has. That case you linked before looks pretty good too. So you have a good choice of the two.

If you download the free trial of Everest, it will tell you the form factor of your motherboard.
