Default Cards without drivers

I have a graphics card sound card that i have no drivers for on a CD but i am upgrading my computer to XP do you think the graphics card and sound card will be ok without a CD with the drivers that came with the card.

Yup, you'll be fine. Just go to the card manufacturer's website and download the newest drivers.

Question when you install a new OS does it delete all the old OS off the drive

In a word, yes.

This should help you: Steps to Clean Install XP . Down the left side of the tutorial it has pics you can click on that show you what the install looks like at the various stages.

The graphics card will work, but it won't work like it's supposed to. Without the drivers you won't be able to do things like change the resolution and set up dual monitors and various other options. It will probably be set at a low resolution and the picture will not be great.

The sound card won't work at all, you have to install drivers.
