I would get the 7800GTX because of the increased number of pipelines. You can then, overclock the hell out it just as I did with mine. I don't think that ATi card can beat the 7800GTX. THen again, I'm bias towards nvidia chipset.

Im going with the 7800GTX its very cheap as it comes with BF2
Also could i have your e-mail and messenger screen name? You're great at this stuff and could be a great help

There are other members here that definitely know a little more about the ATi's. You'll get a lot of mixed opinions whether to get the new X1000 series or the 7800GTX's. Both are good performers, but I've seen benchmarks on the 7800GTX and I will stand by them. I am very impressed with that particular chipset.
