Default Carbide Series 500R (PC tower)

Where I live, people throw things out. Sometimes computers.
I just found a Carbide Series 500 R PC tower down the road. It's pretty clean and new looking. Only a power supply and some fans inside though. All switches and drive slide covers are intact.

Was just wondering where these things fit on the food chain? Are they considered a good tower to have in the PC world? There's a dell motherboard and a pretty massive Video card in the box with it. Also a couple of humungus cooling fans.

Is this something of value or is it an old style tower, now-days superceeded?
