Everytime I run scandisk I get a message that says that the scandisk had tried to run 10 times and that something that keeps trying to run write the hard drive and that's what is starting scandisk again. If you tell me how to get the print screen into the post I'll get ya one of the message. Please help Thanx.

Are you running scandisk while Windows is in operation in that case?
I think there is an option to have it run when the computer is restarted, try selecting this.
If this doesn't work, go into SafeMode (f8 at bootup) and try scandisk there. Theres less of a chance of any programs interfering with the checking, since it only loads minimal drivers and programs to run Windows
