cant get rid of it

can someone help me out here... i got this messege box that always comes up, saying messenger service.. "windows has encounterd an internal error your windows registry is currupted" and it said we reccommend go to this site and do a scan...

sounds like spyware and looks like it... and i cant find it in the process window and its not in msconfig or anything.. all started since i got comcast cable...

Boot up in safe mode, does it still come up. Also whan is it coming up(boot up, opening internet browser...)

so , umm... it only comes on when im online.. and like, when im doing nothing it comes up every 5 minutes, but when i start using internet explorer, going to other sites, it comes up really often...

sounds like spyware. have you got any spyware dextroyers like ad-aware or spybot? try using mozilla firefox instead of internet explorer
