Exclamation Cant get anything to boot

I tried to install sabayon (a distro of Linux) on my comp, but when grub came up it said Grub error. So i installed ubuntu to boot into vista, but now when i boot it says "Grub hard Disk Error" And the only thing i can do is boot into a live CD or the windows CD. How can i uninstall GRUB from the windows Cd or linux Live CD. i dont care about keeping linux.

In the Windows recovery console go to the C: directory

type fixboot C:

then bootcfg /rebuild

then restart
