Default Can't boot from XP disc

Related to my other thread:

I have a new copy of XP, it doesn't respond to the "Press and key to boot from CD..."

Then says "Invalid BOOT.INI file, loading from c:\windows"

And that's all, really stumping me, any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: If it helps, I can't even get into safe mode/last known good config because my keyboard doesn't work then either.

EDIT: Problem solved, USB keyboard wasn't enabled in BIOS, and now I feel like quite the n00b.

I was just going to ask if it was a usb keyboard, and maybe suggest if you had a regular ps2 keyboard that you could hook up. But you got it figured out, so cool...
