Default can't boot from CD.

i have boot priority for the optical drive set to number one in the BIOS, and i'm getting a prompt saying "press any key to boot from CD" but when i do, nothing happens. any ideas?

Is the CD in the drive bootable?

What happens when you insert the CD into a working computer? Does it auto run the program on the CD? What do you see on the CD?

Well, did you burn the .iso to CD, or did you open the ISO in a burning program and let it burn the image to disk?

when I put into a windows vista machine a prompt comes up with the old windows 2000 logo asking me how I want to run or something like that that.


@pville: I put in roxio and just sorta burned it...

it's a .ISO of windows 2000, btw.
