Default Can I Upgrade This?

I have an HP Pavillion XL866 Desktop PC. It has an Asus A&V-VM mobo and a AMD Athlon 1.1 GHz processor (Socket A). What is best processor I could buy to get the most bang for the buck. Thanks.

Thank you Mr CompMan. Is the socket type the only limiting factor? Will the xp 3200+ be compatible with the mobo?

I found the xp 3200+ that CompMan suggested is still available, but want to make sure it will work with my mobo.
