Default can i increase the amount of main memory used for graphics?

i have a celeron m processor 1.4ghz with intel extreme graphics 2 and 1024mb of ram. i would like to set the amount of memory used for graphics to about 256mb if this is possible. thanks in advance for any suggestions

Sorry, can't be done. You can only use as much ram as the card comes with.

He is right, you can increase the Appature size, but I would recommend a new graphics card as 64MB isn't enough. Sry man.

no the graphics is integrated on the motherboard and a max of 64Mb and min of 31Mb is used from main memory and i am running windows xp and my computer is a notebook by the way

Increase the AGP appature through the BIOS, that may help a bit.
