Can I Do This?

Can I remove my floppy drive in my computer? I want to because the short cable is really bugging me and the only reason I had it in before was to load RAID card drivers when I needed the RAID card. However, I recently put in a 400GB WD SATA drive and I only have that in and I was able to install Windows XP without loading any SATA drivers from a floppy (did I do something wrong?). So, can I remove my floppy drive?

Thanks!

I haven't put a floppy in the last three pc's I've built, you'll be fine to remove it.

Once you have physically removed it go into the bios main screen and disable the floppy there and also go into the boot tab and disable/remove the floppy there as well, it will speed up your boot times because it won't be looking for the floppy at post
