Unhappy Can any one Help overclock the l2 ofa celeron

Hey I have a celeron 2.5 ghz.It only has 128 Of cache.And is at times very slow.I run it on a soyo dragon 2 Witch isnt to bad...And 768 of ddr ram...I Dont know what to do with this celeron.Its I Need it to work a lot better.!!! if any one has any ideas or advice plz post

You could overclock it if you have suffficient cooling but, as your probably are aware, it's a pretty poor cpu.

Better to see what P4 M/B can handle and go for the upgrade.

The fsb is very important. if your m/b can handle a P4 HT 800fsb, go for it.

Ok Well my computer has very good colling i have 3 case fans and 2 isnde and one on the cpu...I could def handle the overclock could some one run me through how to overclok my l2

You need to raise the fsb, dont go to high at first try incrementing in 5Mhz steps and test the machine with something like well, folding 3dmark etc Always check the temps.
