Camera Help

Hello! my name is Luis and I am very happy to be in contact with yall comp experts. I have a problem with my webcam. Its a Genius NB Webcam, and I have trouble with it after dark because for some reason I have no backlight. Curiously enough there IS a backlight option in the preference panel but its unclickable, deactivated. Is there any way to activate backlight in the cam? Or does this cam model not include a backlight for night conditions? Please help me as soon as you can.

Anyways, i looked up the specs of your webcam, and I couldn't find anything about a backlihgt or any kind of light on your webcam.

Deactive the auto settings for the cam. My Logitech has the same thing. But the only way to get to that function is to go all manual.
