Default Call of Duty 4

C2D 2.13ghz
2gig ocz 667mhz RAM
EVGA 8800GTS
Gigabyte motherboard
7200rpm 250 gb hd
580watt hiper psu
19" monitor 1440x900 res

If I overclock the CPU could I expect decent frames with Call of Duty 4 on high settings?

You probably wouldn't even have to overclock it, but yeah that should run it on high.

i think u can max it out on stock with good fps
overclocking will deff give u better tho

thats a pretty good setup... get another 2 gigs of RAM and u'll be all set to play... you'd probably even b able to play Crysis

he can play crysis right now on high? y does he need another 2g

You could do high except for one map. Forgot what it's called, but it's tougher to run than all the other maps.

no way in hell he needs 2 more gigs...


yea, that should run COD4 pretty damn well my friend, my pc in my sig runs it at medium-high settings 1024x768 and i can get a decent 30-50 fps, not really too playable at 30 fps, but its doable for now...
