Sound like the cable connection you have been using for the internet is a dedicated line from Comcrap, while the rest of the house is connected to the satellite.

I don't know what that is. I could just run a 50 ft. cable to the basement. My mom just wouldn't appreciate it.

I would end up spending too much money. It's going to be $170 for the card and $90+ shipping for the card.

I have my sound card in that. I need that more than the SLI setup. The sound is incredible.
