Buying parts

If you guys had paid attention to the reviews all the bad ones are from last year. Rosewill seems to have fixed the problem.

Interesting, but I'm going to give it a shot. I personally prefer to go by the user reviews. After what apparently looked like a "bad batch" reviews have been pretty good. Plus I won't do any hardcore OCing until I feel like stock won't cut it anymore. I admit I should have probably researched a little more.

Considering it cools better than retail, and it cost less than the other one's suggested on an already over budget build, I'd say he did just fine.

From Teny's link:
The Rosewill RCX-Z5 performed better than any other CPU cooler that we have tested ever since moving to the T.E.C.C. method. While Rosewill's current product base is low, it is clear that the Z5 is a much better product than the Intel and AMD retail heatsinks in both thermal and acoustic performance.
