Default Buying a New computer - is it decent?

Processor Type Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33Ghz
Operating-System Windows Vista Premium
RAM Memory 8192 MB
Hard Disk Capacity 1000 GB
Optical Drive 1
Blu Ray Reader
Plug In Removable Hard Drive NO
Built-in Digital TV Tuner NO
Remote Control NO
802.11g Wireless Network Ready NO
Graphics Memory 512 MB
Graphics Description NVIDIA. GeForce 9600GT
Built-In HP Docking Station NO
Keyboard YES
Mouse YES


All for 599

How good is it? I'm not very amazing when it comes to understanding computer jargin.

How good is it? I'm not very amazing when it comes to understanding computer jargin.
It's OK I guess. Nothing outstanding. 9600gt is sorta lame, and it's not a very fast processor. It really just depends what you want to do with it. But you could get a much better system if you built it.

Knock the RAM down, the GPU up, and if possible the CPU up a 'lil too.
