Default Buying a new computer.. !

Well,

Im looking to buy a computer/laptop from BestBuy or any other place..

I would like to spend around 1000-1500$..

Im not a CRAZED gamer but I do enjoy playing UT and CS, WOW from time to time ..

I love ripping dvd's/burning movies etc..

What laptop and pc can I get for my moneys worth at bestbuy?

Thank you!

Question for you:
have you considered building your own? Most people find this a more enjoyable way of buying a computer, and it generally comes out cheaper than buying a built system from dell or other companies.

if you dont want to build your own, try looking at a local small comptuer chain (no big stores like best buy) and see what they can do for you. Most small computer chains build better computers than places like companies like dell (speaking from the experiance of me and my friends) and most of them can walk you around the store and show you what parts will be in your system.
