Default buying cordless keyboard + mouse

i want to buy cordless desktop, here are my 2 choices:

LOGITECH CORDLESS DESKTOP EX110
LABTEC WIRELESS DESKTOP POWER PLUS

can anyone tell me which one of these is better; i'm interested in battery life, how many batteries goes to keyboard/mouse, how long do they last, will it work fine on distance of 4-5 meters?

any other suggestion will be greatly appreciated

go with the logitech. They have good battery life and range. My logitech mouse can go 4-5 meters easily so that logitech desktop should be able to do that as well.

I had a rechargeable one and it lasted about a week on a charge. I got a new one and it's supposed to last about 6 months or more without having to recharge batteries (the new one doesn't have rechargeable batteries). My friend has a logitech mouse similar to mine and hasn't had to change batteries in over 6 months so the claims are true I guess.

I'd get the Logitech, it's a more well known brand. Read some reviews about it here:
