Default burning .rmvb files to a dvd

can i burn a .rmvb (real player) movie to a dvd.. to make it watchable on my dvd player? or would i hav to convert the file.

if i do have to convert it, what would be the best file to convert to?

You will need to convert it to MPEG format for your DVD player to play it.

Ive never done one from that format, but google is your friend.

There is one program I swear by for converting all my videos to DVD format, or anything else for that matter

Although it's not free, it's by far the best i've used and who knows...you might even find somewhere where you don't have to pay

Ha ha, thats what i use for mine, never realised it could do real player files tho. Although ive never had any of that format to convert.

ah man, alright then, wut would be the best prog to burn? i use os x btw

There are thousands of programs that will burn them to DVD, and Nero does as well I think...when it comes to copying/burning DVD's though, I use Slysoft's CloneDVD, I have never had a problem with it, or a failed burn
You just select the directory where with WinAVI you converted it, and away you go
