Default Burning AVI to DVD

Hey, i have been trying to burn AVI files to DVDs in order to watch them on DVD players for a while now. I can never get it to fully work. I tried Nero and Roxio but with no success. It will burn, it will take the 2-3 hours to encode it and burn it to the DVD. My dvd player will read it but it will be distorted and freeze every 5 seconds. It looks like what you see if you have satellite and its raining. All video and sound distortion. Any any1 have any success burning AVI to DVDs? Or must i convert AVI to something else.

yep, i use a program called Convert X to DVD, converting time takes about 20 minutes, once that is done it will tell you to insert a DVD to continue. Then it will start the burning processes which takes between 5-10 minutes. Never had any problems.

Heres the link: http://www.vso-software.fr/download.php usually with a trial download it's going to put some type of water mark on your dvd

AMD 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+
Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe
Corsair CM2 X 512 x 2 A-6400
Nvidia 7600 GS 256 MB PCI-E 16x
