I like that motherboard too. I actually recommended that to someone on here a few days ago. I just figured since you have a huge budget, you might like that Asus Striker.

I actually love that motherboard, but it cost wayyyy too much.

Yep, plus Direct X 10 stuff when that arrives.
It plays Direct X 9 games like no other!
Basically, unlike before, you can now have HDR (High Dynamic Range)within games, as well as having antialising on. Something that just wasn't possible before.

and will it support vista? I read that GeForce 8800GTS 640MB doesn't support vista.

They all support Vista, or at least they should. Those are some specs.

Yeah, even Direct X 9 cards will support Viesta. I wouldn't worry about it.

As soon as Viesta arrives, Direct X 10 drivers will become available, unlocking the potential for the card, and so games that come along to use it.

Nope, because for one thing, you need a water cooled rig to be able to use it.
It has input and output pipes to fit a water cooling system.
