Would this configuration work well? [all from newegg]

Case
Motherboard
Processor
Memory (RAM)
Memory (HDD)
DVD Burner
Graphics Card

First off terriable choice of a CPU

Go with this type
Core 2 Duo

Cna use the same MOBO

if its outta your budget switch to a AMD build.

he meant, "can use same MOBO" saying that you can use that same motherboard for the core 2 duo processor

Dont get an Nvidia chipset for Intel, save yourself some trouble. Get the 965 chipset instead. Like the Gigabyte DS-3, or the ASUS P5B. You would want a better powersupply instead of using the one that came with the case.

The nvidia chipsets out right now are the same thing as the nForce4 IE, C11s. They crappiest chipsets for Intel as of right now. If you want NVidia, you will want to wait for the C55s. I dont know when they will be out. The 965 on the other hand, out performs the C11s, and is designed very well. Nvidia can't design memory controllers if their life depended on it.

yes it would be. The 965 chipset is one of the best Intel chipsets out.

965 chipset's got intel graphics?
and intel graphics outperforms the nvidia integrated graphics?
