It has a $399 price tag. And it is faster than an 8800 ULTRA and 9800GTX in games that are reasonably well optimized for multi-GPU setups. Multi-GPU cards always improve with new driver releases so we haven't seen the full potential of the X2 yet. It is on paper, the most powerful single card available.
There is no point in buying it unless you game at ultra high resolutions with all filters. Otherwise it is a waste of money.

What brand are you looking at? Is it a reference or non-reference design?

Why not this one? It has the same clocks but the cooler is a lot quiter and cools better thanks to it's two slot design: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814241074

Although at those prices you are creeping into 8800GT territory which performs around 10% to 15% better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150252

Yes, it does, two in fact. And all the other little things you didn't think of. It will also come with a copy of Company of Heroes. I know as I used to own that card.

And the 8800 gt will be able to play games like Command and Conquer 3, Source Games, and Battlefield 2142 all at high settings at 1024X768 resolution or larger right?
