You should definitely get SATA for speed.

More speed=Hitachi Hard drives
Quietness and reliability=Samsung Hard drives

That would play solitaire.....Nothing else really. Even to play SOME games you would have to shell out about 100 bucks.

The floppy drive is good because well its a floppy drive theres no good or bad brands really.
