Building my first computer!! So excited!

Going to build my first rig. Just want to know if these are compatible and good for a first mid entry gaming PC. Trying to keep it under $500.

well? Is this good? I would like to play recent games like Black Ops and Battlefield, and upcoming titles like Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Skyrim and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Ill appreciate the input.
 
1) Perhaps you can save some money buy going with a mobo without onboard video
2) You can also look into the fastest ram that your board supports. its not too much more expensive.
3) If you want to game, for your hard drive: SSD > 10K RPM HDD > 7200RPM HDD > 5400/5900 RPM "green" HDD
 
So I'm not sure what happened to all the other post.

Okay so I updated my list and looking for your input again. I think this is now better to what i had before.
 
I'm kind of confused as to where the rest of the posts went as well. Now I can't remember what we were talking about :confused:
