Default Building htpc need help

Hey everyone. I am building a new htpc, with a 3ghz quad core amd athlon 2 and 4gb of DDR3 1600 ram.

Now I need a video card (Nvidia based) that will also pass through audio through the hdmi. I was hoping < 100 bucks. I need 1080p video, and for it to support DTS, DTS-HD master audio. As well as ac3, mp3, and any other format possible.

Linux support is also a must, but as long as it's Nvidia based I should be ok.
Was looking at 1gb ddr5, pci-e 2.0 x16.

Will this card do all that?
Newegg.com - ZOTAC ZT-40702-10L GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

Any better suggestions? No gaming on this machine, just high bitrate 1080p video.

Thanks in advance.
