yeah, bf 2 needs more than 1GB of ram to work well.

ust keep in mind that you don't always need the best parts to play well. If your ready, overclocking actually is pretty simple for your video card and CPU. I have an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ at 1.8GHz and its overclocked to 2.4GHz with an idle temp of 25 degrees C and barely moves under load for some reason.

u might want to check the temp sensor. The temp should increase quite much when gaming, and the 25C when running at 2.4Ghz sounds quite weird. (unless u have some awesome cooling)

And I'd definitely go for a Core 2 Duo cpu. Then something like a 7600GT and 2Gb of some good quality ram.

Yea. If you dont care about how good your computer looks, get a cheap cas for like 40 bucks, and ul already save some money which could go into a better processor.
