thanks. Im not sure if is hould go with a AMD 64 3200+ should I ?? or should i go with theIntel Pentium 4/ 3.0E GHz 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, Hyper Threading Technology

I would go with the AMD i think its cheaper and is nicer.

Its also slightly faster in games.

I most certainly think you should go for the AMD 64 3200+ they are cheaper and maybe slightly better in games as airox said

Its actually fairly nice. The only problem is if you are only going to get 512 of ram you will want to get two 256mb sticks. Two sticks of ram can be tremoundously faster. For ex.

I had one of those corsair 512 sticks. And got a cpu score of like 570

Now with another one its at like 617

Im going to buy 2 sticks of that 512 ram to get 1 GB. is that still ok?

yeah that is what I have. I thought you only put one so as long as you have two everything should be fine

are you talking about a fan on the heat sink?
